«Father Ted - Series 1» is the 1995 British comedy series starring Dermot Morgan, Ardal O'Hanlon and Frank Kelly, on DVD.
The series follows Father Ted Crilly and other priests relegated to the remote island of Craggy Island, where the most ordinary parish life leads to absurd entanglements. Quick dialogue, eccentric characters and a housekeeper obsessed with tea sustain a British comedy of dry, irreverent humor.
This DVD edition (Region 2, PAL) contains the complete first season, with English Dolby Digital 2.0 audio, English subtitles and writer's commentaries.
Recommended for those seeking British comedies with absurd humor and witty dialogue.
