«Gamer» is the futuristic action movie starring Gerard Butler, released in 2009 and available on Blu-ray.
In the near future, video games use real people as human avatars in a global spectacle. Kable, a convict, is controlled by a teenager in «Slayers», a violent shooting game where he fights for his freedom. The movie offers a critique of surveillance and the dehumanization of digital entertainment.
The movie is in English. This special two-disc edition includes a digital copy for Mac and PC compatible with iTunes. The Blu-ray edition was published by Midget Entertainment.
For those who enjoy futuristic action movies and stories about video games.
