Thousands of kilometers south of Buenos Aires, three characters travel along the lonely roads of Patagonia. Don Justo, an 80-year-old man, has run away from home to search for his long-lost dog. Roberto, a 40-year-old traveling salesman, carries a cake for the birthday of a client's widow's son. María Flores, a humble 25-year-old woman, travels with her daughter after winning a TV show contest. Though they travel separately, their lives and dreams intersect in the region's desolate roadside stops.
