«Il était une fois» is the 2007 film by Kevin Lima, starring Amy Adams, James Marsden and Patrick Dempsey, on DVD.
Princess Giselle, born in the animated kingdom of Andalasia, is cast out by the evil Queen Narissa into real New York, where she becomes a flesh-and-blood woman. In Manhattan she discovers a world very different from fairy tales and meets Robert, a divorce lawyer who has lost faith in love, and his daughter Morgan. The arrival of Prince Edward in the city blends the two worlds in a romantic comedy with musical numbers.
Published by Walt Disney France, this two-disc DVD includes audio in French and English, with subtitles in French and English, and a running time of 103 minutes.
Suitable for all audiences, it blends the fairy-tale universe with romantic comedy: ideal for those who enjoy Disney's animated and family movies.
