After being shot down over enemy territory during a reconnaissance mission, Lieutenant Chris Burnett must fight for his survival in a hostile environment. As he attempts to reach the safety zone, he discovers illegal military activities that make him the primary target of local forces. Without official support from his superior, Admiral Reigart, due to complex political reasons, Burnett must rely solely on his instinct and will to escape alive. This intense war action film, directed by John Moore and starring Owen Wilson and Gene Hackman, is based on true events.
