«Irreversible» is the movie by Gaspar Noé (2002), starring Monica Bellucci, Vincent Cassel and Albert Dupontel, on DVD.
The action follows a reverse chronological order, from the outcome backwards. After suffering a sexual assault on leaving a party, a woman triggers the revenge of her partner and her ex-partner on a night of violence through the streets of Paris. The editing and the camera make the movie a deliberately uncomfortable experience.
Edition published by Tartan, region 0, with a running time of 95 minutes. Original version in French with English subtitles.
Aimed at adult viewers: the 18 rating warns of explicit content and the DVD itself warns of possible strobe effects.
