One-act ballet recreating the biblical episode of Joseph, besieged by Potiphar's wife, with the intervention of an angel. John Neumeier is responsible for the choreography and direction on the score by Richard Strauss and the libretto by Harry Graf Kessler and Hugo von Hofmannsthal. The recording reproduces the Wiener Staatsoper production.
