«L.A. Confidential» is the crime and mystery movie by Curtis Hanson (1997), starring Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe and Guy Pearce, on VHS.
The film is set in Los Angeles in the 1950s and follows three policemen investigating a series of murders. Their inquiries uncover a web of corruption, double-dealing and dangerous passions that pervades the whole city, from the mansions of Hancock Park to the clubs of the Sunset Strip. The story contrasts the public image of its characters with their inner reality, in a criminal portrait as dark as it is absorbing.
