«La costilla de Adán» is the 1949 George Cukor movie starring Spencer Tracy and Katharine Hepburn, on DVD published by El País.
Amanda Bonner, a lawyer, defends a woman who shot her unfaithful husband. What she doesn't know is that her own husband, Adam, will be the prosecutor in the same trial. The case becomes a public battle between the sexes and tests their marriage, with Judy Holliday as the defendant and a good dose of classic comedy.
The El País edition combines the DVD with a companion book. The movie runs 1 h 48 min, with original English audio, Spanish subtitles, and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.
For fans of classic Hollywood cinema and George Cukor's comedies, and for admirers of the Tracy-Hepburn duo.
