Michael Haller is a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Continental. Having spent most of his career defending low-level thugs, he lands what he thinks is the case of a lifetime: defending a wealthy Beverly Hills playboy accused of attempted murder. However, what seems like an easy and highly profitable case quickly turns into a dangerous duel between two masters of manipulation.
