«La Doublure» is the French comedy movie by Francis Veber (2006), starring Gad Elmaleh, Alice Taglioni and Daniel Auteuil, on DVD.
François, a valet at a Paris hotel, appears in a paparazzi photo alongside businessman Pierre Levasseur and his lover, model Elena. To hide the affair, Pierre's lawyer proposes that François pretend to be Elena's partner. The cohabitation between François and the model triggers a comic tangle of absurd situations.
