«The Green Mile» is the movie by Frank Darabont (1999), starring Tom Hanks, Michael Clarke Duncan and David Morse, on DVD.
In the 1930s, Paul Edgecomb supervises the death row of a penitentiary, where the condemned walk the green mile to the electric chair. The arrival of John Coffey, a giant accused of a brutal crime, tests his beliefs: the inmate seems to possess a supernatural gift. The movie combines prison drama, mystery and a denunciation of injustice.
