La Noche de los Generales

Synopsis of La Noche de los Generales

In Warsaw, during the early days of the German occupation, a prostitute is brutally murdered. A witness claims the killer is a German general whose face he couldn't see, but he did see his uniform. Major Grau, in charge of the case, must investigate three generals without an alibi. The investigation leads Grau from Warsaw to Paris and directly to the 1944 plot to assassinate Adolf Hitler, in which two of the generals are deeply involved. Grau's case remains unfinished until 1965, when the real killer is brought to justice.
