«La Revoltosa» is the zarzuela movie by Juan de Orduña, starring Elisa Ramírez, José Sacristán and Marisa Paredes, on DVD.
In late 19th-century Madrid, Mari Pepa arrives at a corrala and wins over all the men, except Felipe, with whom she falls in love. At a street fair, jealous neighbors arrange a meeting with «La Revoltosa» for the admirers, and Felipe goes to clear things up. It adapts the zarzuela of the same name by Ruperto Chapí, with a libretto by Manuel Tamayo.
