«Le Llamaban Bruce» is the martial arts comedy film directed by Elliott Hong, starring Johnny Yune and Margaux Hemingway, on DVD.
Martial arts comedy that follows a Korean waiter with clumsy moves whom everyone mistakes for Bruce Lee. That misunderstanding drags him into increasingly absurd situations, forcing him to pretend he is a kung-fu expert while taking hits and provoking laughter. A parody with action, mix-ups and nods to Bruce Lee's cinema.
The original English title is «They Call Me Bruce?»; Region 2 DVD edition, marketed in Spain from June 2019.
Recommended for fans of martial arts parodies and farce humor inspired by the figure of Bruce Lee.
