«Life of Brian» is the movie by Terry Jones (1979), starring Graham Chapman, John Cleese and Michael Palin, on DVD.
Monty Python satirical comedy: Brian, born the same night as Jesus, is mistaken for the Messiah and unwittingly leads a movement of followers in Roman-occupied Judea. The film ridicules religious and political dogmatism, and closes with the famous song «Always Look on the Bright Side of Life».
Running time: 90 minutes. Region 2, 1.85:1 picture. Audio in English (Dolby Digital 5.1), German (mono) and Hungarian (Dolby Digital 5.0); subtitles in several languages.
Suitable from age 12 (FSK 12); the religious and political satire sparked protests at its release.
