«Los Locos del Bisturí» is the 1982 movie by Garry Marshall, starring Sean Young, Michael McKean and Kyle T. Heffner, on DVD.
Parodic comedy set in a hospital that satirizes medical soap operas. A brilliant intern faints at the sight of blood, a doctor tries to seduce the head nurse to steal the key to the medicine cabinet, and a mobster hides disguised as a woman. The resulting chaos mixes absurd humor with nods to the hospital series of the era.
Running time: 92 min. Languages: English, Spanish and Catalan; subtitles in Spanish and Catalan. DVD region 2, PAL, Dolby Digital 2.0, 1.85:1 format. Not recommended for under-13s.
For fans of 1980s parody comedy, with a tone similar to 'Airplane!' and hospital mix-ups.
