«Los Panzers de la Muerte» is the war film by Gordon Hessler (1987), starring Oliver Reed and David Carradine, on DVD.
At the end of World War II, the German army commutes the sentences of prisoners from jails and concentration camps and sends them to die in penal regiments. The story follows a battalion of the 27th Panzers on the Eastern Front. Based on the novel by Sven Hassel, it shows the war from the perspective of these soldiers.
