«Los pazos de Ulloa» is the television series by Gonzalo Suárez (1985), starring José Luis Gómez, Omero Antonutti and Victoria Abril, on 2 DVDs.
It adapts the novel by Emilia Pardo Bazán: in 1880, at the Pazos de Ulloa, religion and superstition, passions and politics mix. The arrival of the priest Julián alters the life of the house: the marquis has married the fragile Nucha, while Sabel, his maid and mother of his bastard son, represents the opposite side.
Produced by RTVE, this two-DVD edition includes the four episodes: 236 minutes, audio in Spanish (Dolby Digital 5.1 and stereo) and subtitles in German, English, French, Italian and Portuguese.
An option for those interested in the work of Emilia Pardo Bazán and in RTVE drama series.
