Set in the summer of 1949, this acclaimed film directed by the Coen brothers tells the story of Ed Crane, a taciturn and bored barber living in a small California town. Seeking a way out of his monotonous existence, Ed decides to blackmail his wife's lover, triggering a series of unexpected and tragic events that will change his life forever. With a black-and-white visual aesthetic that pays homage to classic film noir, the film stands out for its masterful performances and a script full of suspense and dark humor.
