Synopsis of Mort au sommet
Mort au sommet es una película de aventuras y suspense ambientada en el mundo del alpinismo. La trama sigue a Molly Higgins, una escaladora experimentada, que es reclutada para formar parte de una expedición americano-soviética con el objetivo de alcanzar la cima de los famosos montes Lenin. Tras un primer contacto difícil con sus compañeros, Molly debe enfrentarse a dos terribles enemigos: un misterioso traidor que sabotea deliberadamente la expedición, y la propia montaña, que se convertirá en la tumba de varios miembros de la cordada. La película está basada en una historia real que tuvo lugar en 1974, un "thriller" nevado firmado por Richard Colla, con Lori Singer, Todd Allen y Brian Mc Namara, rodada en el prestigioso escenario de los Alpes austriacos.
