Synopsis of Nadie sabe nada de gatos persas

«Nadie sabe nada de gatos persas» is the movie by Bahman Ghobadi (2009), starring Negar Shaghaghi, Ashkan Koshanejad and Hamed Behdad, on DVD.

Two young musicians leave prison and decide to form a band. They travel through clandestine Tehran to find other underground artists, but the authorities prevent them from singing in Iran; they then dream of performing in Europe, a goal that seems almost impossible without money or passports.
