«Nostradamus» is the movie by Roger Christian, starring Tchéky Karyo, Amanda Plummer and Julia Ormond, on DVD.
The movie follows the life of the 16th-century French physician Michel de Nostredame, whose prophetic visions bring him into conflict with the Inquisition and the scholars of his time. After losing his family to the plague, he devotes himself to studying his trances and writing his predictions, which force him to live under suspicion and to encode his texts in order to survive.
The disc includes audio in Spanish and English (Dolby Digital 2.0), with subtitles in both languages, and a running time of 116 minutes. Region 2 (PAL); not recommended for children under 13.
