«Pharaoh's Army» is the war movie directed by Robby Henson, starring Chris Cooper, Patricia Clarkson and Kris Kristofferson, on DVD.
During the American Civil War, a Union captain and his men arrive at a remote farm to requisition cattle and supplies. The farm's owner, whose husband fights for the Confederates, must coexist with the officer and his troop; the tension between them turns the armed conflict into a private war of loyalties.
The edition of «Pharaoh's Army» distributed by Eurocine Films S.L.U. runs 90 minutes and includes audio in English and Spanish, with Spanish subtitles.
It will appeal to those seeking a period war drama focused on characters and the American Civil War conflict, rather than on large battles.
