Piranha

Synopsis of Piranha

Two young campers disappear in the uninhabited area of Aquarena. Private investigator Maggie McKeown travels to the region and convinces the wild Paul Grogan to help her in the search. Upon infiltrating an officially abandoned military base, they discover a piranha breeding ground and force Dr. Robert Hoak to reveal a terrible secret: to make the waters of Vietnam lethal, the United States commissioned scientists to study crosses of voracious freshwater fish to make them capable of living and proliferating in any body of water. This cult film directed by Joe Dante is a classic of horror and suspense cinema.
