In 1787, the Bounty sets sail from the port of Portsmouth for Tahiti to load the fruit of the breadfruit tree. Captain Bligh, eager to reach the island as soon as possible, imposes a strict discipline on board. Upon arrival, the crew discovers a paradise that contrasts with the hell experienced during the voyage. This film, directed by Lewis Milestone and starring Marlon Brando and Richard Harris, is a classic of marine adventure cinema.
