Rec 2 is the direct sequel to the acclaimed Spanish horror film. The story picks up immediately after the events of the first installment, where a special operations team enters the quarantined building to control the situation, only to discover that the horror has evolved into something much darker and supernatural. Directed by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza, this film maintains the constant tension and the handheld camera style that characterizes the saga.
