«REC» is the Spanish horror movie by Jaume Balagueró and Paco Plaza, released on DVD by Filmax Entertainment.
A television reporter and her cameraman enter an apartment building to cover an incident; once inside, they are trapped while an unknown outbreak spreads chaos among the residents. Shot in subjective shots and with found-footage aesthetics, the movie turns every corner of the building into a threat.
The film was produced by Julio Fernández and Castelao Productions. The cover includes the Venice 64 Film Festival logo and the tagline «Experience the fear».
It is aimed at survival horror fans and those who enjoy stories shot in confined spaces.
