Synopsis of Retorno al pasado
Un ex detective retirado, bajo el nombre falso de Jeff Bailey, vive en una pequeña localidad regentando una gasolinera. Su vida tranquila se ve interrumpida cuando un viejo conocido le informa que su antiguo jefe quiere verlo. Bailey se ve obligado a revelar su turbio pasado a su novia: fue contratado por el hampón Whit Sterling para encontrar a su amante, Catie Moffett, quien había huido con una gran suma de dinero.
