«Retratos de una Obsesión» is the movie directed by Mark Romanek, starring Robin Williams, Michael Vartan and Connie Nielsen, on DVD.
A photo lab technician becomes obsessed with a family whose photos he develops each week. Their images show a life he desires, and the initial fascination turns into a dangerous fixation. Robin Williams plays that lonely man in a psychological thriller about intimacy and the distance between what is seen and what one is.
Original title: One Hour Photo. Running time: 92 minutes. Audio in Spanish and English (Dolby Digital 5.1) with subtitles in both languages. Single-disc DVD, region 2. Fox studio.
Will appeal to those who want to see Robin Williams in a dramatic role, far from comedy.
