Fellini's Roma is a semi-autobiographical, impressionistic portrait of Rome, blending the director's youthful memories with the chaotic reality of the modern city. Through a series of loosely connected vignettes, the film explores everything from subway construction revealing ancient frescoes to ecclesiastical fashion shows and Roman nightlife.
