Gwendolyn Shepherd is a seemingly normal teenager who discovers that her family holds an extraordinary secret: a time-travel gene passed down through generations. When Gwendolyn is suddenly transported to late 19th-century London, she must learn to navigate this new world and work with Gideon de Villiers, her cousin's arrogant partner, to unravel the greatest mystery of her family history. Based on the first book of Kerstin Gier's successful 'Edelstein' trilogy, this German film combines fantasy, romance, and adventure in a fast-paced story.
