Dave, who is deaf, hires Wally, who is blind, to work at his newsstand. However, when a bookie comes to collect money from Wally, he is murdered by a woman, leaving Wally and Dave as unreliable witnesses. The police begin to suspect the deaf and blind duo as the murderers. This comedy reunites Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder in a hilarious chase.
