«Shutter Island» is the movie by Martin Scorsese (2010), starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Mark Ruffalo and Ben Kingsley, on DVD (French edition).
In 1954, federal marshal Teddy Daniels and his partner Chuck Aule arrive on the remote Shutter Island to investigate the disappearance of Rachel Solando, a patient held at Ashecliffe psychiatric hospital. The case, seemingly simple, turns strange: the island holds secrets and the institution is not what it appears. Scorsese builds a psychological thriller with a murky atmosphere and mounting tension.
The edition includes a 132-minute disc, with audio in English, French and Turkish (Dolby Digital 5.1) and subtitles in French, Dutch, English, Swedish, Turkish, Finnish, Danish and Norwegian.
Not recommended for under-12s; will appeal to fans of psychological thrillers and followers of Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio.
