«Silent House» is the psychological horror movie directed by Chris Kentis and Laura Lau (2011), starring Elizabeth Olsen and Adam Trese, on DVD.
Sarah (Elizabeth Olsen) goes with her father and uncle to the old family house by the lake to restore it and sell it; that night she becomes trapped inside, isolated from the outside, and the strange phenomena grow increasingly dark. The suspense unfolds in real time and with the appearance of a single take, turning the house into an oppressive, claustrophobic setting.
Remake of the Uruguayan film La casa muda (2010). Running time: 85 minutes. Original version in English with dubbing and subtitles in Spanish. Not recommended for under-18s.
For fans of psychological horror and real-time suspense movies, with a claustrophobic atmosphere for adult audiences.
