In 1948, the blockaded city of Berlin faced a shortage of food and supplies. The Allied forces took care of this supply through the Berlin Airlift, which provided more than 12,000 tons of raw materials daily. This film rigorously recounts these events, to the point of having been filmed entirely at the Tempelhof airbase, as well as in the Allied part of the destroyed city of Berlin. Starring Montgomery Clift and Paul Douglas.
