Shane Meadows directs this warmhearted portrait of an unlikely friendship between two boys on the inner London housing estate of Somers Town. Tomo is a runaway from the Midlands, and Marek is the son of a Polish construction worker. Together they navigate the complexities of life, love, and friendship over the course of a single summer.
