«Tellement proches» is the movie by Éric Toledano and Olivier Nakache (2009), starring Vincent Elbaz, Isabelle Carré and Omar Sy, on DVD.
An extended family gathers for dinner and, over the course of the evening, tensions, secrets and misunderstandings surface among siblings, in-laws and friends. The film combines humor and sensitivity to portray emotional bonds, everyday quirks and the chaos of very close relationships that, precisely because of that, are not easy.
DVD edition in original French version (Dolby Digital 5.1 and 2.0), with French subtitles for the deaf, region 2, 102 minutes and 1 disc.
Aimed at those looking for a French ensemble comedy with the humor and sensitivity of the directors of 'The Intouchables'.
