«The Alibi» is the movie by Matt Checkowski and Kurt Mattila (2006), starring Steve Coogan, Rebecca Romijn and Selma Blair, on DVD.
A man runs an agency that fabricates alibis for unfaithful people. When he falls in love with the wife of one of his clients, his system of lies collapses and a job implicates him in a murder. A blend of comedy and crime with mix-ups, misunderstandings and an ensemble cast of ambiguous characters.
The main cast is completed by James Brolin.
Will appeal to fans of screwball comedies with hints of mystery and crime.
