The Boy

Synopsis of The Boy

Greta, a young American woman, takes a job as a nanny in a remote English village to escape her past. Upon arrival, she discovers that the boy she is to care for is actually a life-sized porcelain doll that the parents treat as if he were human, following a strict list of rules. As Greta ignores the warnings and the rules, disturbing events begin to occur, leading her to question if the doll is truly alive.
