In a remote region of Kenya, the wife of a British diplomat, Tessa Quayle, is found brutally murdered. Her husband, Justin, a seemingly quiet man, refuses to accept the official version and, driven by love and the search for the truth, embarks on a dangerous personal investigation. As he delves deeper, he uncovers an international conspiracy involving powerful pharmaceutical companies and secrets his wife tried to protect at all costs. Directed by Fernando Meirelles and based on John le Carré's novel, this intense dramatic thriller features stellar performances by Ralph Fiennes and Rachel Weisz, the latter winning an Oscar and a Golden Globe for her role.
