«The Exorcist» is the extended version of William Friedkin's 1973 horror movie, starring Ellen Burstyn, Linda Blair and Max von Sydow, on DVD.
Actress Chris MacNeil watches her twelve-year-old daughter Regan change completely: from a withdrawn girl she becomes violent and blasphemous, and marks appear on her body. Finding no help in medicine, Chris turns to Jesuit priest Damien Karras, who asks Father Merrin to help deal with a demonic possession.
This edition is the re-edited version with 11 minutes of footage cut before the 1973 release, including the Spider Walk sequence. Audio in English and Italian; subtitles in English, Italian, Icelandic, Finnish, Bulgarian, Romanian and Arabic.
