Synopsis of The Loved Ones

«The Loved Ones» is the Australian horror movie by Sean Byrne, starring Xavier Samuel, Robin McLeavy and John Brumpton, on DVD.

Lola, the shyest student at school, invites Brent to prom, but he turns her down because he already plans to go with his girlfriend Holly. What Brent doesn't suspect is that Lola doesn't take no for an answer: she and her father kidnap him and make him the guest of honor at a macabre party.

DVD edition from ARP Sélection, with 81 minutes of footage, audio in French and English (Dolby Digital 2.0 and 5.1), French subtitles and region 2. Not recommended for children under 12.

For horror and slasher fans who appreciate a violent offering with black humor and an uncomfortable atmosphere.
