«The Majestic» is Frank Darabont's 2002 drama film starring Jim Carrey, on DVD.
After a car accident, Peter, an amnesiac Hollywood screenwriter, arrives in Lawson, a small Californian town where he is mistaken for a missing war hero. As he adopts that identity and helps restore the old movie theater The Majestic, he reunites with his supposed former girlfriend, until an investigation and unexpected accusations complicate everything.
Running time 146 minutes. Audio in Spanish, English and German. Subtitles in 16 languages, including Spanish, English, German and Portuguese.
An option to enjoy Jim Carrey in a dramatic register, far from his comedic roles.
