«The Truman Show» is the 1998 drama movie starring Jim Carrey, released on DVD by Paramount Home Entertainment.
Truman Burbank lives, unknowingly, inside a reality TV show: his city is a set and his surroundings are played by actors. The Truman Show combines drama and social satire by showing how he discovers the cracks in that artificial world, and raises questions about surveillance, privacy and the price of freedom.
The special edition includes English and Brazilian Portuguese language tracks.
For those who appreciate drama with social critique and stories that invite reflection on media, surveillance and identity.
