«The Wall» is the 2017 movie by Doug Liman, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John Cena, on DVD.
Two American soldiers isolated in hostile territory take cover behind a half-ruined stone wall while an Iraqi sniper keeps them pinned down. The action narrows the setting to a duel of observation, marksmanship and patience where the slightest movement can be fatal.
Running time: 88 minutes. Audio in English and French in Dolby Digital 5.1; French subtitles. Single-disc DVD edition, region 2.
A proposition for fans of war thrillers and claustrophobic suspense, with a minimalist staging focused on the psychological duel.
