Inés, an executive at a German company in Bucharest, leads an orderly life until her father, Winfried, shows up unannounced and asks if she is happy. Unable to answer, Inés finds her routine disrupted by Winfried's eccentricities, as he invents the alter ego Toni Erdmann; the movie is a comedy about the relationship between father and daughter.
The DVD edition from Cameo runs 162 minutes, region 2, with original audio in German, English and Romanian, and dubbing and subtitles in Spanish. Not recommended for under-17s.
