«Traffic: La Miniserie» is the television miniseries directed by Stephen Hopkins and Eric Bross, starring Elias Koteas, Mary McCormack and Balthazar Getty, on DVD.
The miniseries interweaves different perspectives on drug trafficking: agents trying to stop it, traffickers sustaining the network, and people marked by addiction. The plot combines these stories with a realistic and gritty tone, showing consequences that go beyond the illegal market.
The DVD edition is for region 2. It includes the extended version of the miniseries, with sound in English, Italian and Spanish and subtitles in these three languages.
The cover presents it as a production by the creator of «24», a detail that may appeal to fans of that series.
