«Turistas» (Sightseers) is the movie directed by Ben Wheatley in 2012, written by and starring Alice Lowe and Steve Oram, on DVD.
Chris wants to show his introverted girlfriend Tina his world, and he does it his way: a caravan trip around the British Isles. What starts as idyllic vacations turns into a funny and disturbing odyssey, a black comedy that satirizes tourism and the middle class.
The DVD edition offers 84 minutes of footage, 16/9 2.35:1 picture and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound in English and Spanish, with Spanish subtitles; not recommended for under-16s.
Aimed at fans of black humor and British cinema looking for an uncomfortable comedy with peculiar characters.
