«Voces sin libertad» is the documentary directed by Iñaki Arteta and released in 2004, on DVD.
The documentary brings together testimonies from victims of terrorism in the Basque Country: relatives of those murdered, people extorted, persecuted or threatened, survivors of attacks and 200,000 exiles who had to flee. Their accounts portray nationalist fanaticism, social pressure and the absence of freedom that marked decades of violence.
The documentary lasts 50 minutes, was published by Divisa Red and features audio in Spanish and subtitles in English and French.
A work for those interested in the recent history of the Basque Country and in direct testimonies from victims of terrorism.
